We can arrange an exclusive stargazing experience at the Retreat for you, with a local astronomer who will bring out some telescopes for you to fully immerse yourself in the southern skies, as well as teach you how to capture images on your smartphone of the night sky.

Pack a picnic with local treats and set off hand-in-hand along one of Peak View Retreat's native bush walks. For couples who enjoy the outdoors, Abel Tasman National Park offers golden beaches, crystal-clear waters and scenic coastal walks. Spend the day working up a sweat hiking or kayaking secluded bays or opt for a more relaxing day cruising the coastline on your own private chartered catamaran. Alternatively you may want to just relax on one of New Zealand's most beautiful beaches (we know a good one).
